COMMUNITY INVOLVMENT

Southwest Viral Med provides education to better serve and care for HIV infected and affected individuals. This education will include, in these initial stages, workshops on Clinical Pharmacology of HIV, HIV Updates for Oral Health Providers and HIV Clinical Updates.

Upcoming Workshops

Southwest Viral Med is engaged in a host of community activities including Spring Bling, an event that provides free HIV testing. In 2016, SWVM also participated in Dos Naciones, Dos Corazones, a collaborative event between the El Paso and Juarez communities. SWVM also holds a World AIDS Day event annually that invites local medical providers onsite to learn about SWVM’s work in enhancing community care.
