Southwest Viral Med is a non-profit organization dedicated to patient care, education and research that will make an impact on the health of West Texas and beyond. We are dedicated to meeting the health care needs of patients living with viral diseases – HIV and HCV – in El Paso. SWVM is specifically positioned to meet the health care needs of a diverse population within the Southwest (specifically El Paso), of which approximately 80 percent are Hispanic.
SWVM operates using state of the art, electronic medical record utilizing the ability to track patient’s progress in real time. It provides clients the ability to view and download their own medical information on a patient portal. Southwest Viral Med provides clients with advance innovative care, while collaborating with case management services in El Paso. With our unique treatment model we are able to reduce the inherent barriers to care for persons living with chronic viral diseases.
